For organisations deploying agents from multiple vendors, this is a genuine differentiator. As we explored in our review of Kore.ai, governance is the missing piece in most agent strategies.

Distribution advantage that no startup can replicate. With 85 percent of the Fortune 500 already on the platform, ServiceNow does not need to sell a new product. It needs to activate an existing one. The Now Platform already sits at the centre of IT operations, HR workflows, and customer service for thousands of enterprises. AI agents inherit that context, those integrations, and those data permissions. That installed base is a moat.

The Autonomous Workforce moves beyond task automation. ServiceNow's early 2026 launch of the Autonomous Workforce deploys AI specialists with defined roles, such as Level 1 Service Desk Specialist and Security Operations Analyst, that handle workflows end to end. This is a step beyond single-task automation and closer to what enterprise buyers are actually looking for: agents that own outcomes, not just actions.

EnterpriseOps-Gym sets the research standard.
